Hello,
Is there a way to make the Plugins link available to only one user, in my case, Manager. Like in config_inc.php to set a variable or something?

well I've changed this files:
plugin_api.php
function_api.php
install_inc.php
plugins_install_page.php x2
plugins_mantis_upgrade_page.php x2
plugins_unistall_page.php x2
I deleted de `char and renamed the function and file columns, are there other files than those I changed, I've checked and I think I did all ok.
Those with x2 are files that are outside the plugins folder and

Make sure that your webserver can write the PHP files.
Well I think is able since I installed Mantis and the PluginManager you made. And of course I added all attributes to the user. Any other ideas ?

You still can use VirtualBox or VMware for virtualization and use Windows + SQL Express hehe; and SQL Exrpess is based on the same engine so there is only size and extras limitations.

oh I see, well SQL Express its free and maybe its ok to test with it, plus I think the changes on plugins are those "`" chars and change the "function" and "file" columns on plugins tables, because ms sql reads them as reserved words.

Well a simple suggestion, if mantis supports more sql enignes than MySql, this useful tool (plugins) should support them too.

Ok. done, finally I make it to work; now I can see the Plugin Manager and all.
As I read somewhere, you have to delete all the ` characters and rename the function and file columns that are reserved words in MS SQL (on all plugin files, included those out of the plugins folder)

I've been trying to install the plugin manager on MSSQL, I already remplaced the ` for empty and renamed the function and file columns for non-system names, but I forgot to do it on some files. Now I deleted the tables (were created ok) but now I'm getting that error "PHP Fatal error: 401 in ...\mantis\core\database_api.php on line 187". now I need to know how to manual
