How can i install plugin manager. I am using Mantis 1.1.8

I have unzipped the pluginmanager-0.4.0 in the root directory of mantis. But when I open this URL [localhost] as mentioned in the instructions., i get the following message: Oops! This link appears to be broken.

I dont know what to do. I am trying to install it on my local machine first so that I can review it and then move it to server.

SQL: MySQL 5.0
OS: Windows

any help would be appreciated

Generally it happens when people jump over the line:

Make sure that all the Mantis directories (including the root directory) and files are writeable by the webserver.

Thanks but how can i verify this weather the Mantis directories are writable by the webserver. I use wamp.

On Windows I don't know.

Can any one explain how can i install plugin manager in mantis. I am using Mantis 1.1.8, PHP 5.2.5, SQL: MySQL 5.0, OS: Windows. I have installed mantis on my local machine at present and want to test the Plugin manager on my localmachine first.

I am using Latest Mantis - 1.2.3, PHP-5.2.13,
I just tried to install Plugin manager as instructed, I copied all the files from the zip into mantis directory and browsed the plugins manager link but it says plugin version - 0.3.0 but I copied all the files from 0.4.0 folder.

Also, As per one of the post, I saw my SQL tables
1. mantis_plugins_pm_dependencies_table - empty
2. mantis_plugins_pm_function_overwrite_table - empty
3. mantis_plugins_pm_list_table - 1 record which has pluginmanager

How should i proceed further. Also how to use the package format to install the plugins using FTP

Mantis 1.2.x is not compatible with these plugins.

Hello,

I was not able to install version 0.4.0 PlugInManager

When i try to run the progam I get the followin error: install the plugin step 2 / 4: sql upgrade. I've tried all the steps above but nothing solved my issue. Could you help me please?

I have the same problem with Mantis: 1.1.8

Make sure the rights are enough to create table in the SQL database.
