Hello,

I am using mantis version 1.1.2. The installed mantis app has not had the plugin manager installed before.

Following the instructions from the download page I downloaded pluginmanager-0.2.1.tar.gz, unzipped archive in my mantis root.

Then I went to [mantis] which redirected me to [mantis].

The installation fails on:

Install the plugin
Step 2 / 3: Patching files
Install the plugin
Step 1 / 2: Patching files.

I have added $g_mantis_version = MANTIS_VERSION but this has not helped.

If someone could help me out that would be great. I am totally stuck.

I have the same problem. I have no error messages it just fails on 2/3 and 1/2

I don't remember why there is a 1/2... Anyway, make sure that the MANTIS_ROOT/core.php and MANTIS_ROOT/custom_strings_inc.php files are writable by the webserver (and that the webserver is able to add files in the MANTIS_ROOT directory).
