[Resolved] core.php file is not writeable

Hi,

I have mantis 1.1.8, Plugin Manager 0.4.0. When trying to install, everything checks OK except for:

Install the plugin
Step 3 / 4: Patching files

FAIL
core.php file is not writeable

HELP-ME

As it is written, you must ensure that the core.php file is writeable.

chmod 777 core.php ?
I tried but to no avail...

The mantis directory should also be writeable.

Hi I have thesame problem, I install plugin manager 0.4.0 to mantisbt 1.2.3 after installing everythings OK except step 3 / 4 patching files "FAIL core.php is not writeable" i used apache, mysql in ubuntu server. can any one help me.. plsssss

The plugin manager is not compatible with Mantis 1.2.x.

Hi;

Make sure that the webserver has write access to the PHP file (chown apache or chmod 777 by example).

Hi;

I changed the parameters of the "core.php" file to "777", but the problem is not eliminated.

It concerns all files and also the directories (including the root directory).
