[Resolved] values in advanced tags like <target_in_version> are not imported
June 26, 2008 04:14PM
I try to import a file with values of the advanced properties <eta>, <projection>, <target_version>, <fixed_in_version>, <version>. The import is done, but the values for those properties are not imported.
Is this wanted?
UseCase: I want to import all my changerequests, which already have their target version and so on .

thx,
emjey

I see the bug you posted winking smiley I'll take a look tonight or this week-end. Of course it is not wanted (to not import eta, projection, target_version, fixed_in_version and version fields).

Try with product_version instead of version in your XML file.

Thank you so much, It works ! (But when we export bugs, the field is 'version' and not 'product_version', so you can't import exported bugs, I don't know if I'm clear)

Another problem : I have double quotes in my bug's description in my xml file but when I import my bug only the part before the first double quote is imported.

example :
in my xml file : A description : "blablabla"
in mantis : A description :

I tried to put : A description : \"blablabla\" in my xml file
but I doesn't work

I fix my problem, I replace "manually" every double quote in my xml file by the string '"' (without quote). It works fine.

I'm not sure that the XML can have " in its content, converting it in " is probably better winking smiley
