I'd like to integrate Mantis with HP Service Manager.

The integration should be double-way:
- a ticket created on HP Service Manager must create a ticket on Mantis
- a ticket created on Mantis must create a ticket on HP SM

Is it possible?
if yes, in which way?

I am using the below mentioned mantis version

APACHE version 2.4.2;
PHP version 5.4.3;
MYSQL 5.5.24
mantisbt-1.2.15

I have created a work flow New, Structure ML, Layout ML, Correct ML, Check ML, Structure OL, Layout OL, Correct OL, Final Formex, Final Layout, Correct Final, Double Formex, Query, Dispatch. Please some one help me on the below points.

Whereas i need access for only selected status to the users like (Layout OL, Layout ML, Final Layout to one group of user and the remaining to the other level of users).

Kindly help me on this.

Hi,
I'm running Mantis 1.0.5 on CentOS. I tried installing the Plugin Manager 0.4.0 and get a Fail at Step 2/4 SQL Upgrade and then of course for the final installation. I'm not sure what to do to fix this. Clearly my version of Mantis is old however the plugin stated our version is supported.

Hi,

I am using MantisBT 1.2.10, OS: Windows

I try install plug-in Reminder.

Instruction for instalation this plug-in is: "Use the plugin manager to install the last release.", but in plugin manager I naturaly haven't this plugin to install...

I don't now, how tu install.... Unpack to root directory?
Last version of this plug-in is .pkg type and I dont now, how to unpack this. I use older version .tar.gz type and unpack it to root directory, but on plug-in manager site isn't any new item to install or configure.

I'm looking for all the available plugins that MantisBT 1.2.8 has that can be safely installed.

I tried the latest plugin manager and it crashed my php where I had to use a backup to bring everything back to working status. This is for my company so knowing that can happen now, please advise what steps I could take to install some plugin's that will work for my version. Thanks!!

All info I get points me to [deboutv.free.fr] to download the Plugin Manager. I'm running Mantis on Windows, and can't find anywhere to download the actual Plugin Manager.
I'm I being dull? Where is the download?

May I ask you for a quick support concerning an installation error while installing LongCF-Plug-In for Mantis?

The Plugin-Manager returned with the following error:

APPLICATION ERROR #401
Datenbankabfrage fehlgeschlagen. Die Reportmeldung lautet #1101: BLOB/TEXT column 'value' can't have a default value für die Abfrage: CREATE TABLE IF NOT EXISTS mantis_plugins_longcf_custom_field_string_table ( field_id INT(11) NOT NULL DEFAULT 0, bug_id INT(11) NOT NULL DEFAULT 0, value TEXT NOT NULL DEFAULT '', PRIMARY KEY ( field_id, bug_id ), KEY `idx_custom_field_bug` (`bug_id`) )

In addition, I have the wrong application behavoiur described in this Forum under 'LongCF not working'. I see that the code also didn't change.

I would be very happy to get a hint how to fix this bug.

At html_api.php Ive seen plugin event added options (adds a menu item after 'Main' and before 'My View')... so I imagine there is a plugin to add custom menu items like that.

Im workin´with 1.2.3 version...

Mantis 1.1.1
Plugin Manager 0.4.0
LongCF 0.0.4

Plugin installation ok and the options "Long Text (100x20)" and "Long Text (80x10)" show up in the Type list. When I select either one and assign to a project and start reporting an issue, the custom field shows empty without any textfield.

No matter what options I set to this field it stays that way.

Anyone else having this problem? Any help appreciated. Thanks

Hello,

I have problem with installation of Plugin Manager 0.4.0 installation problem with Mantis 1.2.4

System:
Windows Vista, Apache 2.2, Mantis customization made using NetBeans

That is what I did:
1. Clean Mantis installation
2. Some basic customization (logos, views - generally nothing big)
3. All working perfect

And scenario that I'm getting is as follows:
4. Download and unzip Plugin Manager 0.4.0 - simply following instruction
5. Execute step: "Browse the page [...] to finish the installation."
6. Page looks ok but I noticed that version is named 0.3.0 but I used 0.4.0 version...
7. When I press "Return to Plugin Manager" page is reloading as a blank.
8. Entire mantis is not working - When I'm trying open whatever page in mantis a blank/empty page is shown

I really have no idea now what else I can do.
I was browsing your forum today, but without any result.
I will really appreciate any suggestion what I'm doing wrong or/and what I can check.

PS: My game needs is full 3d ,with levels, lots of models, different cameras, and multi player. Imagine warcraft3 for instance.

I had very same problem as others before me. I have installed properly the mantis 1.2.3 and it is worked. Then I installed the Plugin Manager 0.4.0. It said everything is OK. Then when I want "Return to Plugin Manager" I got the error:
"Fatal error: Call to undefined function plugins_pluginmanager_get_plugin_list() in /path/docroot/plugins/pluginmanager/lang_inc.php on line 23"

I have done these things twice.

Whereas the earlier comments did not help me so I did a debug in the whole mantis.
Finally I found the source of the incident.

There is an undefined or an out of sight variable: $g_absolute_path
filter_api.php::52
require_once( $g_absolute_path . 'config_filter_defaults_inc.php' );

Because did not help me to I have defined the variable in config (which has been created by mantis), I changed it:
require_once(dirname(dirname(__FILE__)).DIRECTORY_SEPARATOR.'config_filter_defaults_inc.php');

Then the error disappeared and I can use the mantis with plugin manager.

Hello.

Today I used mantis first time in my whole life.

That means I'm noob :-(

I just wanted install many plugins in Mantis and knew that PluginManager is necessary for installing plugins.

But I haven't understatnd how to set up this plugin.

I have downloaded

but is not available. maybe becuz of broken link? I don know ..

Anyway, I upzipped into Mantis folder.

BUT, Where is pkg file supposed to go ??

I have ignored pkg file and entered the < ~/mantis/plugins_install_page.php > for checking it.

It worked and said Everything is Ok.

BUT < ~/mantis/plugins/pluginmanager/index.php > is not able to be entered.

IE was just showing me this error

' Fatal error: Call to undefined function config_get() in ~\mantis\plugins\pluginmanager\index.php on line 16 '

hmm.. What is that?

Because of ignoring PKG files? or my poor mistakes?

Please let me know..

my OS is windows xp and mySQL 5.1.39
