I can't seem to get indentation to work with smarty-mode/xemacs.

Hi,

I didn't have implemented the indentation feature in the smarty-mode because there are no real rules to indent smarty templates.

What is best? The indentation of the template or the indentation of the final file (output of the smarty engine)?

I would prefer indentation of the template, since that is the file that is being worked on.

How do you edit the files without indentation? Do you line up all of the html/smarty on the left?

By thw way, thanks for working on this. Very cool project.

For a HTML template I'm OK with the indentation of the template. But for a TEXT template (a template used to send an email by example), the indentation must be accorded to the result (or you will have an unreadable email with a lot of space and empty line).

I think I'll add an option to select the indentation type (template indentation or result indentation).

I manually indent the template according to what I exepect.
